I have worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years and am driven by my passion for health, fitness and empowering clients to achieve their goals. I take a motivating approach to training and have experience across all ages and ability, tailoring my sessions to ensure each client’s individual needs are met.
After qualifying with a Bachelor degree in Physical Education in Belgium, I specialised in teaching adventure sports such as climbing, abseiling, canoeing, and organising corporate team building activities. I also taught spin classes for 8 years in one of Belgium’s leading fitness centres. In 2009 I made the big move to Australia and in 2012 I started up Team One Fitness. Team One Fitness offers cardio boxing, cross training/bootcamp classes, on various parks and beaches across Sydney, far better than working out in a gym in my opinion! We also provide personal/ small group and corporate training.
My approach and style is the result of my years of experience in training clients and seeing first hand what type of training achieves the best results. I vary my workouts, not only to keep things fresh, but also to keep the body guessing. My cross training/bootcamp sessions consist of functional full body movements and high intensity interval exercises, using a wide variety of equipment. This, in combination with the right nutrition, will allow you to not only reach but also exceed your expectations.
At Team On Fitness we have a great sense of community, and the social aspect of the group provides the perfect environment to enjoy your training as well as getting great results. I take a personal interest in everyone I train and I will inspire and motivate you to be the best you’ve ever been. Many of our clients have been with Team One Fitness for several years, which I believe indicator of our success.
What struck me first about Yves was how he knew everybody by name, often at classes of over 25 people. It gave you an immediate sense of someone who had a vested interest in you, and ultimately your fitness and goals.Couple this with workouts which were always varied and challenging and you had a perfect recipe for success.

Having tried numerous gyms and fitness groups over the years, Team One has been the only one that has consistently kept me fit, strong and motivated. I have been training now with Yves for over 9 years and always look forward to his sessions. Yves energy, knowledge and enthusiasm rubs off on the entire class, making training enjoyable yet challenging. No class is ever the same and he is particularly good at recognising the variety of fitness levels and goals, encouraging those that want to be pushed that little bit harder. My technique has improved considerably, and with his guidance managed to train throughout my pregnancy right up to 38 weeks. I would highly recommend!
