Tough Mudder Training 2014
Tough Mudder is coming up soon. Team One Fitness is doing it on Saturday 15th November and we are still looking for more people to join our team.
Tough Mudder is a 21K obstacle race. It is supposed to be the toughest race on the planet or at least that is how they promote themselves.
Don’t let this scare you too much though, you don’t have to be able to run 21km straight to finish the race. The run is mixed up with obstacles which gives you time to recover.
Looking at the intensity of Team One Fitness’ sessions and the fitness levels of people that we saw doing it last year, I believe that all of you guys can do it.
Tough Mudder training sessions will run for 4 weeks on Saturdays until the race. Sessions will run for about 1 hour or even a little longer starting from 8.30am. If you just want to join the sessions but not do the race, then this is fine.
Tough Mudder is an amazing day out. It’s all about working together to complete the obstacles and finish as a team, and when you finally cross that finish line, it is the best feeling ever!
Here is a short overview with some relevant information:
When: Saturday 8.30-9.30am
Where: We will use Bondi as our playground. We meet on the grass area next to the skate park.
Cost: Living Social or members on a 1, 3, or 6-month package: $10 ; Casual or non-TOF members: $20
